Domain Names And The Perfect Moniker

Did you know you could pay someone to help you come up with the perfect domain name? It’s true. A think tank of marketing experts can come together to help determine a perfect name for your online presence.

Why would something like this be needed?

It seems that most of the more obvious online names are chosen and it takes a bit more creativity to come up with a recognizable and easy to use domain name that reflects the core of your business.

The good news is you may not need to pay anyone to come up with a perfect name for your domain.

If you already know that your business name is in use on the web you might want to either alter your business name should you’re business still exist in the startup phase. In you already have an established business you could go with some of the suggestions you are likely to find on a domain registry site, but this often lacks a personal touch.

Invite your family and friends to assist in filling a piece of notepaper with words or attributes that describe you and your business. Find words that may describe the collective nature of your store.

For example you might have a ceramic store where you hand paint and fire a kiln to create one of a kind gifts based on the clients request. For the sake of this experiment let’s also say that you specialize in ceramic pigs, but sell other types of ceramics as well.

Start by listing either attributes or words that describe what you do.

Ceramics
Kiln
Paint
Hand-crafted
Gifts
Pigs
Flame
Fire
Paintbrush
Paint

OK, that’s just a few words that may describe what is happening in your business. As of this writing the following web address does not exist, which is why I am using it as an example. www.firethepig.com

Maybe not a perfect name, but it would be easy to remember and in a clever and memorable way describes the specialty aspects of the store.

When you visit a domain registry you can keep checking to see if a new choice in name is available. In some cases businesses will also buy domain names that may be similar or ones that feature a different web extension such as .net or .biz. These businesses will then redirect visitors who happen to type in the wrong address to the main site.

With competitive rates for domain names it has become much easier to lay claim to multiple domain names.

The truth is you can find multiple online businesses that can assist you in site development, design, graphics, audio, content and even naming your domain. In most cases you can learn the skills through a little research and even a bit of common sense and save money for your acts of ingenuity.

In a matter of minutes you can assess your skills as a business and see if those skills and attributes line up to create an online domain name that will stick in the minds of your site visitor.

Your site name is important to the marketability of your site. It may not be in your best interest to simply take the first idea that is available. Keep the domain as short as possible and keep things memorable.

Shelter in a Perfect Storm of Economic Changes

We live in a time like no other. There are events occurring in our economy that are likely to change the financial landscape in ways that most of us could never have imagined. My purpose is not to be a fear broker. I’m not suggesting that we retreat and start hiding our money under the mattress. However, I think we need to be aware of the dynamics that will shape the future of our economic culture.

I have daily contact with business people who are pulling back, trimming down and becoming as lean as possible. The uncertainty of what’s to come combined with what we know about the present economy has people taking a serious look at their finances. What do you do when you are not sure if you can rely on things like your 401k, common stocks or other investment vehicles? How do you protect your job? How do you brace yourself against the tidal wave of inflation that is most certainly on its way?

Well I do believe that there is some good news for those who are willing to think outside of the box. Name, if you can, a traditional small business startup that you can take to an international market and operate in the black from the first month forward. Name a business that you can start for as little as $500.00 and give yourself a shot at a 6 or 7 figure income within a couple of years, or five to ten years for that matter.

There is hope for those who are willing to step out of the traditional mindset and consider their options. I have to believe that a great many skeptics who have been leery of network marketing and the so called pyramid schemes will be willing to take another look. There is an abundance of proof that network marketing has proven itself as a viable option. I, for one, am appreciative of a Better Networker for having a safe place, populated by people who want to preserve and promote the best game in town.

There could not be a better time to step up the game and target some resources toward the only business opportunity on the planet that can provide real security in a time of such uncertainty.

Caution:

Wisdom must prevail. It is incumbent on all who throw their hat in the ring to do the proper research to separate the real deal from the want to be businesses. The real pros will offer sound advice and can be very effective in giving direction without an overbearing bias.  There is a big difference between those who feel that they have to sell sell sell as opposed to support support support. Keep in mind, if the biz op and the product are fully legit, they will sell themselves with the proper support team to provide quality marketing advice.

There is a massive target market of people who are particularly vulnerable in the current market. Those who are 50 years old and above are taking a serious look at what the future holds. Those who are looking ahead to their retirement years are trying to get a fix on what resources they can depend on. I believe it is safe to say that we cannot depend on a government that is exploding in a massive sea of unprecedented debt. We have no guarantees that social security will be available as a supplement.

I’m the perfect example. I have over 30 years of national and international marketing experience. At 62 years of age I don’t want to return to the 60 hour work week, the pressure, and the responsibility that would be required in my field. At this point there is no such thing as enough money to justify the sacrifice of quality time and the freedom to enjoy the coming years. The other reality is that there is a serious lack of positions available if I wanted to return to that rat race.

I know, without question, that I can generate multiple income streams with a reasonable effort from home. It is no big sacrifice to spend a few weeks leaning the ins and outs from those who are successful and who are looking for the chance to share what they know. In my personal experience I recognized the importance of taking action. Within 24 hours of engaging what I had learned, I earned my first actual online income. I flipped that income back into my business and I continue to grow.

How many people just like me would like to be aligned with a 24/7 international business that only requires a few hours a day? How many people would like to increase their income over the averages that they have earned in more traditional jobs of the past? How many people would like their income to be residual, with weekly checks that they continue to receive, even when they are traveling, seeing the sights, relaxing and enjoying life?

Yes, we are seeing a perfect storm of economic challenges. Yes, there is shelter in the storm for those who are willing to spend some time learning the secrets of those who have led the way.

Start Now! The storm clouds have already gathered but it’s not too late. There is no shortage of people just like you that are looking for long-term financial shelter. Click Here for more information on the resources that got me started on the right foot.

My name is Skip McNutt. I have over 30 years of marketing experience. As a marketing specialist in the Specialty Coffee business I was a monthly columnist for several national and international trade magazines. I am now heavily involved in Network Marketing.
